Now that we've seen last year's top albums, let's move in to the next part of my Best of 2009

Whitney Houston
"I Look To You"
- Ah yes.... the legendary Whitney Houston.... In a way, this was her comeback. The tracks here are very Whitney-like and not trying too hard to sound pop-ish. I listen to this album when I want to calm myself. It's really great to see her in the music business once again. The music in here may not be as strong as her singles before but what the heck? she's back in the game!!
Favorite Tracks: (1) Million Dollar Bill, (2) A Song For You, (3) Salute

Owl City
"Ocean Eyes"
- Unlike last year where the only male group was Maroon 5, Owl City is the first of the five boy bands (excluding solo male artists) that we'll see in my Top Twenty Albums of 2009. What I really liked about this album is that it's not too much pure hardcore/metal/gothic songs in it. All the songs are simple but meaningful. Their first single Fireflies may not have charted good in my YTT but doesn't mean I don't like their album. There lots more single worthy songs in the album
Favorite Tracks: (1) Cave In, (2) Meteor Shower, (3) Fireflies

Jay Sean
"All or Nothing"
- Who would've thought Jay Sean was capable of reaching the US Billboard Hot 100 with his first single Down? This album is CRAZY and by crazy i mean CRAZY GOOD!! He has unique vocals and suits the songs in his album really well... His first single "Down" is so fun to listen and dance along to. I'm really looking forward to his next single and hopefully can have the same success as his first single
Favorite Tracks: (1) Down (f/ Lil Wayne), (2) Do You Remember (f/ Sean Paul and Lil John), (3) All Or Nothing

Madonna
"Celebration"
- Next on the list is the Queen of Pop, Ms Madonna's Album "Celebration". In a way, this is like a "Greatest Hits" album because of the re-collection of her previous singles. The first time I heard "Celebration" I was getting Loco on the dance floor. The beat is so futuristic and really meant for dance track lovers. This is the first of the two "Greatest Hits" albums you'll see in my top albums. Stay tuned and find out who's the other one
Favorite Tracks: (1) Celebration, (2) Hung Up, (3) Material Girl

Paramore
"Brand New Eyes"
- A rock band finally!! Last year they were really close to breaking the my top ten albums but this time they make an appearance in my Best of 2009 Albums!! This rock band is really unique and their songs are very catchy especially the way Hayley sings it. Some of the tracks here can even be turned into dance tracks if you ask me ^_^ I love the album cover although I'm not sure what butterflies have anything to do with eyes or rock for that matter... does it have to? lmao This is the first of the FOUR rock albums you'll see here.
Favorite Tracks: (1) Ignorance, (2) Playing God, (3) Brick By Boring Brick
