Well Karma got her. lol Besides Jen may not have the voice or the so called "talent" but Mariah besides her ballads and her vocals she's a cheap artist...she could wear a Versace dress and make it look like a cheap tent.

She didn't lie. Jen is a lot different. She's a global icon, way more popular than her. JLo is a brand.
She is an entertainer not just a singer.
Karma is real btw. Where is Mariah's voice/song-writing?

What talent does JLO have other than dancing and performing? I hope you weren't banking on her so called "acting" skills because.... Mariah can sing, write, and produce her own music, which is something JLO can't claim.
By the way, being "fascinating" isn't a talent and it is totally subjective dependent on the individual you're asking.

Karma for speaking the truth? There is no karma when it comes to Mariah, especially where it concerns Jennifer (who is doing worse than Mariah commercially and critically) because Mariah did not lie in that video. JLO's talent is not singing, writing, or producing.
If Mariah's artistry is cheap, then what is JLO's? Unless you're saying that JLO has no artistry, which I agree with. Speaking of cheap, nice avie.

JLo is such a global icon and popular figure that A.K.A. could not outsell Me. I Am Mariah... in it's first week in the U.S. and world wide. She couldn't even match her in total sales both in the U.S. and world wide DESPITE having plenty of promo that Mariah didn't have.
Did she even outsell her in the singles department? Did Live It Up, First Love, I Luh Ya Papi, Booty (featuring both Pitbull and Iggy Azalea), etc combined match #Beautiful's numbers?
Mariah's voice is in her bank account with her half billion dollars empire that JLO the BRAND can't ever match, even with all those endorsements and deals.

I wish she was alittle more humble as Jenny never had an issue with her. Maybe she'd still have much more success.
But yes, Jen is alot different. She's an entertainer not just a singer-songwriter. She a Golden Globe nominated actress, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, phenomenal dancer, NY Times best selling author, and successful businesswoman. One of the best performers of our generation.

So does Karma explain JLo's flops too?

Can someone give me the low down on Mariah's dislike for J.Lo? It's like her shade toward her just came out of nowhere. Did J.Lo do something to her?

Throughout 2000, Carey had already been writing and recording material for Glitter.[12] During this period, she developed the concept for the album's lead single, "Loverboy". Originally, Carey had sampled the melody and hook from the 1978 Yellow Magic Orchestra song "Firecracker", using an interpolation of it throughout the chorus and introduction.[12] In early theatrical trailers for Glitter, the original version of "Loverboy" was still featured. As Carey had ended her contract with Columbia Records, Jennifer Lopez was signed by Tommy Mottola, and had begun recording material for her album, J.Lo (2001).[12] According to The Inc.'s Irv Gotti, Mottola, head of Columbia and Carey's ex-husband, knew of Carey's usage of the "Firecracker" sample, and attempted to have Lopez use the same sample before her.[12] At the time, Carey had become increasingly paranoid over outside executives being informed about Glitter, especially following news of Lopez's "theft" of the song.[12] When the music publishers for "Firecracker" were questioned, they admitted Carey had licensed usage of the sample first, and Lopez had signed for it over one month later, under Mottola's arrangement.[13] Following the scandal, Carey was not able to use the original sample, as Lopez's album was to be released far earlier than Glitter.[13] She subsequently changed the composition of "Loverboy", and incorporated a new sample, "Candy" by Cameo.[13] According to Gotti, Mottola contacted him with instructions to create the Murder Remix of "I'm Real" to sound exactly like another Glitter track he produced, titled "If We" featuring rappers Ja Rule and Nate Dogg.[13] The "Firecracker" sample was eventually used by Lopez on her song "I'm Real", from her album J.Lo.[13] The remix of Mariah's "Loverboy" featured rapper Da Brat singing a pointed message about "bitches emulating [her] daily", to the melody from "Firecracker"

It has a lot to do with Tommy Mottola and how he used JLO as a way to screw Mariah over, both professionally and personally. By the time JLO was signed, Mariah and Tommy had divorced and Tommy had it out for her. For starters, radio personalities and publication have come out and said that Tommy paid them to trash Mariah. Michael Jackson has also come out and said Tommy Mottola was trying to destroy Mariah (by having her followed and so forth).
The biggest problem between the two has to do with JLO's song "I'm Real." Here is a bit of a history on that:
Quote:
The feud would reach its next turning point in late 2000. Although she had been disappointed with the promotion for 1999's Rainbow, Carey began recording new songs for her next album, Glitter. One of the songs, she was recording, "Loverboy", featured a sample of the song, "Firecracker". To ensure the security of the sample, Carey placed a hold on the song and obtained clearance. However, as she was still at Sony Music at the time, Tommy Mottola was still her boss, and privy to all her recordings. Thus, Mottola knew about Carey's high priority of the "Firecracker" sample. In a move, many have considered to be an indirect personal attack at Carey, Mottola informed López and her producer Cory Rooney of the "Firecracker" sample. The pair then began to write a song over the sample, and the song "I'm Real" was soon released. Carey was shocked and quite angry as she had intended the sample for her song, "Loverboy". However, as López's album was to be released in 2000, and Carey's would not be released until 2001, López's album JLO with the usage of the sample would be released first. Carey had no choice, but to scrap the usage of "Firecracker" in "Loverboy".

JLO is kinda the sacrificial lamb in this case.
