Sorry, I forgot having an opinion different than a stan's is trolling. Katy didn't do justice to the song
(she rarely does justice to her own songs)
, and she probably won't be able to do it justice if she covers it again. That's all I was saying.
Chances are Adele gave her permission, because she at each of her concerts she has a segment where she sings a brief cover of some current song.

Everything sounds so much better acoustically.
That doesn't mean anything. People don't ask if they can cover a song at a concert, they just do it
In fact, she did singing lessons since she was a child. She also studied Italian opera I believe for a while.
I've been in an choir and have been studying music for 4 years now, and I can say I don't think she's bad. Her most valuable assets IMO are her full chest belts (Firework) and her upper register (Not Like The Movies) she could probably learn how to support her notes more...she fails to use all her air and her diaphragm in some songs, ESP low notes,,
The arrangement was weird, but she sounded decent. This only strengthens my opinion that Katy's voice is not suited for pop music, and would fare better for songs like Thinking Of You.
I think she sounded great, anyways. When I listen to her, I feel something inside I don't feel from anyone else.
I mean, look at this. I've never heard this kind of applause for a non-single.
