I'm sure originally she went in believing she was going to write a darker record, maybe she wrote By The Grace of God, and went off of that, but ended up coming out with a mirror of Teenage Dream, with really no maturity growth. I don't understand the burning of the blue wig, now that you look back on this era, when their really was no going against that era, and being something completely different which is what that video implied, as soon as we got the Roar video, I knew it was all just a cheap ploy.

That's irrelevant tho, this thread has been posted so many times on ATRL, rehashing this thread again isn't going to change the fact that PRISM was never supposed to be a dark album.

I mean, it's called PRISM. The purpose of a PRISM is kinda the opposite of darkness, no?

Sorry but he has a point.

This has probably been discussed in about 30 threads on ATRL now.

Katy changed her artistic direction for the album, which she is perfectly allowed to do, and made that VERY clear publicly. The whole CONCEPT of the album title/art/campaign was about light. Either keep up or do the research before you fire shots like this.
