After Britney saw success last summer with “Outta Control” and “Black Diamond”, her anticipated album release was cancelled and her blastoff tour was discontinued after 16 sold out shows. Britney’s short lived return featured several big performances, a #1 and #2 hit song, and an increase in her fan-base. Britney’s twitter account was deactivated and she disappeared from the face of the earth, literally. Many wondered where she had gone until one night a few months later, Britney Spears was seen shaving her head. Since then she has spiraled down into a massive breakdown and lost custody of her children. Last week she gave a lackluster performance of Toxic at a NYC club which was recorded and posted online for millions to see, leaving fans and haters alike wondering if Britney’s “comeback” will fail miserably.

Britney re-activated her twitter for the first time in months telling fans they should expect new music very soon and that this time she isn’t going anywhere.

Britney hints that new music is coming
“I’m sorry for what happened last year and I’m sorry for not giving it my all when I performed at Avalon nightclub.. you can expect much better performances really soon!”
“I know sorry isn’t enough but I really am. A lot was going on in my life personally at the time and it just wasn’t a good time for me to be promoting and making music. I am better now and ready to give you some new material! Here’s a little sneak peek”

RT “@britneyspears is this a lead single off a new album or just a one song thing?” It is not the lead single, just a promotional single but I will be releasing a new album and lead single soon.
June 20th, 2014.
Are you guys ready for it?

Exorcism was a smash waiting to happen
It was supposed to feature a female rapper who's name shall not be named yet
I might have to sign Alexandra again
Can you imagine?

Didn't she get blocked by "Needles and Pins (I'm Not Alright)", or was that the previous week?

Paula Deen Releases Exciting Debut Single
Written by: Paula Deen, "Beyoncé"
Produced by: Pharrell Williams
Length: 4:20
Paula Deen has decided to retire from her iconic cooking career, but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of her. The white-haired cook's next goal is to tackle the music industry. With a three-album contract with Butter Records and a very nice black man helping her produce her debut album, Skin As Fair As My Hair, it looks like Paula Deen is here to stay.
Her first single, The Southern Way (Diabeates) is full of fun and life. Paula takes a very casual approach to the uplifting midtempo, sing-talking for most of the song. It's the perfect summer song without feeling overly beach-y. Paula sings about her life and how they just don't do that in the South ("Y'all have got your blacks and gays / But we've got the Southern way"). It's easy to connect to and a sure-fire hit! Buy the song on iChunes right now or face the consequences!

No, Adam was serious.

I remember Genetic Fail signed Paris, and one song she released, "Fruity Booty", had a chorus just like "Ass liek a watermelon / Ass like a watermelon / Ass like a watermelon / Ass like a watermelon".

Azealia Banks- Vibes
Writer: Azealia Banks
Producer: Gold Panda
Release Date: 6/22/14
Album: TBA
Genre: Trance
Label: DreamCream Recordings
The first single off of Azealia's upcoming sophomore album has just dropped after an interview on Good Morning America. With an angelic beat produced solely by Gold Panda, known for "You" which was sampled by Charli XCX on You (Ha Ha Ha), this unusual track by the rapper has received high acclaim. "A silky and beautiful track that flows through your brain" is what Pitchfork has said about this trance song. "The vibes from of the night get me high on life" is the angelic line Azealia sings throughout the chorus of this relaxing gem in Banks' discography. "Vibes" currently has a video in the works and is expected to come sooner than we think, according to Azealia's label.
Since the release a few hours ago, Azealia's big fanbase has gotten her a worldwide trend on Twitter, #BuyVibesOniTunes. Banks has been finding success in "Vibes" without the trend though as it has already rocketed itself to the top position with only a performance on Good Morning America. With a video coming soon, this trance song by Miss Banks will be another hit for Azealia's catelog.

I think one of your artists did block me, and it was a really close call, too. "Needles and Pins (I'm Not Alright)" probably was the song that blocked me.

Azealia Does Comeback Performance on GMA
Right before the release of Azealia's critically acclaimed single "Vibes", Banks appeared on Good Morning America to announce the song and perform the song for the outside crowd of thousands. Immediately after the performance, "Vibes" was released to all digital song purchasing platforms.
When Azealia took the stage to perform the crowd went wild for Ms.Banks, who has remained MIA for months for undisclosed reasons. Those who aren't live in person to see Banks were watching through a black and white filter. Azealia was carried on stage by two men wearing all black latex and gas masks. Sitting in a worn down wooden chair likely to give splinters to even the most cautious, Azealia was covered up by white chiffon . Head to toe, she was wearing Yves Saint Laurent. A black button up 1800s style gown that flowed down to her feet was worn by the rapper along with a silk ribbon covering her eyes. Behind Banks stood tall white ancient Rome style columns and an LED screen showing a picture of a luxurious European hall.
As the beat banged, Azealia's latex adorned dancers pranced about the stage in a seizure-like manner. Removing the chiffon and lifting her mic, Azealia began to sing the haunting vocals to "Vibes" with the ribbon still covering her eyes. Tied by rope to the chair, Azealia squirmed about as she sang Vibes with her dancers moving around her. During the chorus, the ropes fell and Azealia ripped the ribbon off her eyes revealing blackout contacts. Running down a catwalk Azealia cooed "the vibes of life get me high on life" to only do a death drop on the last line, with her dancers doing the same.
After the artistic 6 minute performance, Banks did an interview with the hosts of GMA. When asked about the video Azealia said "tune into my upcoming Z100 interview and all details about the video will be revealed" Also in the interview Azealia revealed this week quite a few performances and possibly a documentary will be released. "This will be a big era by me. I want it to be all about the art and the aesthetic. I want to make people uncomfortable with my work I do. There will be heads turning and eyes rolling but that's what you get for being an artist." Finally at the end Azealia said "My new single 'Vibes' is available for buy so go check it out!"
