Did you ever think that maybe the girl wasn't thinking about Madonna when she made the damn song? I mean, she's freely admitted at all points in her career when she references Madonna and oftentimes makes it undeniable--like at the end of the Born This Way video. Born This Way strings a lot of influences together--as most professional critics have noted--and perhaps the one time she breaks down crying saying she didn't have that in mind making the song, she's actually telling the truth.

And how do you know Gaga lied about an email? Madonna has been the one being shady throughout this entire ordeal, uploading videos of EY to YouTube, giving venomous sound bites to reporters. I mean, it's just ridiculous.

Born This Way wasn't suppose to sound like Madonna's EY. Both Songs uses the same baseline that's all. Ofcourse she'll deny it because it wasn't intentionally done to be a copy of that song.

Gaga always has praised Madonna since the beginning of her career. And actually she's not "way more influenced from Madonna" you girls seem to forget a lot of her influences come from Bruce & Bowie as well. Y'all only say Madonna because she's basically an easy name.
