So when Black People refer to us as "Crazy Ass White People" it's not racist either? No, because it's funny.
I feel like people need to stop being so sensitive in general. I hate Shane's video's with a passion, so I'm not trying to support him. But in all honesty, every race is guilty of slagging off another. We should be able to laugh about it, rather than get offended by someone pointing out that we're different.
That's what people define Racism nowadays. People getting offended when someone acknowledges differences in Culture and Race. Racism is when you insult another culture or race.
As long as you're not insulting anyone, I don't see the problem in poking fun at other people, just like they do to us.
(btw, I know Racism still exists especially when Blacks are being shot down etc. I'm just talking about the fact people consider anything to do with Race as Racism).

The funny thing is black and brown people don't just get 'slagged off'. We are killed and dehumanised for no crime other than not being white. There was a story about a man getting shot dead in a supermarket for picking up a toy gun, whereas white people can literally walk around brandishing assault rifles and nothing happens to them. Hate crime against Muslims is at an all time high, yet there are so many examples of whites committing terrorist acts yet we don't lump them all together. Stereotypes against people of colour are harmful and potentially deadly. Don't compare memes on the Internet with people getting killed for their skin colour and tell me it's the same, it's insulting.

He only apologized because his "movie" is being torn to shreds based off his behavior. He deserves all of this.
These idiot youtubers who try to make it big outside of the internet when they built their career on bad internet behavior and expect people to just forget about the permanent digital footprint they've left are hilarious.

It sucks that any human being is killed for any reason, but just because certain races are killed more often in your opinion doesn't make them any more or less important than anyone else that's a human.

It was probably best for him to apologize in the light of Sam Pepper.
He obviously didn't do it with racist intentions, but it was a good idea and necessary.

Oh my god the ignorance in this thread. He DID need to apologise because blackface is an utter disrespect to the black community. For a white person to mock black people in such a ridiculous way is offensive and gross. He's done blackface for so many years and he only apologises when he starts to receive heavy backlash that is detrimental towards his career - his apology is thus insincere. He needs to apologise to many other minorities for blatantly offending them (for over five years now) as a pathetic way to keep his career in tact.

But its not in his opinion though thats whats happening black people are treated more unfairly by the law and in general black people dont get any slack black people have been ******* on for years and are demonized just for existing. What people dont understand is that black face has historical context behind it thats why its not ok.

Are you daft? racism isn't just when you insult another culture or race. It's inequality, it's living life with preordained stereotypes placed upon you, it's having to prove you're not a threat. Racism against whites is a thing, but it's nowhere near the same. What do you suffer? hurt feelings? PoC are given lower chances of employment, negative portrayal in the media and death. I hate seeing people act like racism isn't that big of a deal or don't see how ****** society is. When there is true equality, there won't be racism but that won't happen anytime soon

He looks old as hell. 
I do think he needed to apologize. I didn't have anything wrong with it, but I'm not black. So several people obviously had a lot of problems with it. So he did the right thing by apologizing.

I don't even understand how people feel blacks reacting negatively to "blackface" as being sensitive. Blackface was a method of entertainment that mocked ME! How is who I am funny? Please understand that this didn't take place 100 years ago but only 50. Racism is still very present and mentalities have not changed, people are just less aware and think race jokes are funny.
People can say this man isn't racist all he wants but he is dressed in blackface, which was developed by racist white people. A lot of you here are speaking and really just don't know **** so this is alright with you but nothing about it is acceptable. There are plenty of ways you can recreate a POC's being without painting yourself as them.
