At this rate it looks like Adele will do around 200k. Springsteen's 2009 album opened with 224k, down from 335k a year and a half prior. It's a hard week to predict.
i think Springsteen will take it, and i'm a casual fan, so i hope that aswell. 10th #1 album!
i have a feeling there's more buzz around this album than the last, like the music is more appealing to old-school fans. "we take care of our own" is awesome!
at the same time, i AM here for doing a face if Adele actually beats him and ties weeks at #1 with purple rain already now....the shock!

A battle is shaping up between a pair of Columbia superstars to see who will be the "Boss" of next week's chart.
Bruce Springsteen looks to be locked ina pretty tight battle with Adele for #1 next week, with both Wrecking Ball and 21 in the 200-225k range.
One more chart-topping performance for Adele will give her 24 weeks at #1, tying her for the pre-Soundscan era with both Prince's Purple Rain and Saturday Night Fever. The West Side Story soundtrack holds the all-time record with 54 weeks at #1, set back in 1962-63.
