Rihanna - Rated R
At first, this album was #3, but then I pushed it back because it wasn't actually released at 2010 and I didn't want it to be placed higher than albums that actually were. Still, I felt like it needed to be honored since I've kept listening to it as a whole in 2010. It's an unforgettable album by Rihanna and I'm saddens it wasn't overally more successful. It is truly a masterpiece.
Standouts:
No standouts. This album is like a story, if you miss one chapter, then it's not complete. It's a journey inside Rihanna's mind, heart and soul, with breath-taking ballads such as the enchanting 'Fire Bomb' and 'Cold Case Love', the spine-tingling and eerie 'Russian Roulette', the fun-dancey 'Rude Boy', the angry-gangsterish 'Wait Your Turn' and 'G4L'.
