So you're saying white, asian, etc lives don't matter?
No, i'm saying black people are being killed by the US police indiscriminately and white and asians are not. These protests are not about whites and asians, they're about black lives.
#BlackLivesMatter (and if you were to finish the sentence) just as much as white lives do.
I actually don't think any of her post is cause for ire except for that embarassing hash tag.

You can't be serious. Black people are the ones decrying racism and unfair treatment the majority of the time in this country and they should be so grateful that there are so many white liberals in the media that bandwagon and give these stories traction.
You wouldn't go to a breast cancer walk and discuss lung cancer
No. Many people participate in breast cancer awareness events and address the issue of cancer in general. It's not like Katy addressed a particular race in her tweet, she made it broad.

What are you even saying? If black people are murdered everyday and their attackers see no consequences and if black people are in prisons in disproportionate numbers to their percentage of the population, they shouldn't believe that's unfair treatment?
And they should be grateful white people stick up for them?? JFC The amount of racism in this post is unbelievable
People are reading too far. The fact that she used "all" insted of "black" is supposed to mean we're all equal if anything, not trying to "make it about white people" or whatever you guys are claiming. God.

So if those with breast cancer and relatives with it can bring awareness to it without it being steered to another illness why can't black people also bring awareness to the unjustifiable deaths of our own people without it being steered to another race ? Mike Brown and Eric Garner were both black and its black lives being taken by PD so that's who they're raising awareness for, its not all races being harmed its a specific one
