I did it once in high school Skipped two consecutive classes. Me and my friends deliberately skipped PE class but we NEVER intended to skip the next subject which was English. We were just hanging out and we didn't notice the time

In college, I was on the verge of dropping my Economics class because it was that boring lmao I think I skipped that class five times

I completely stopped going to school during the 2nd half of Senior Year but I still passed all of my classes and maintained my 3.0 GPA. I was mentally done with high school after homecoming and only went to avoid being put in jail.

For me currently if you miss more than 4 classes your name is taken off of the attendance. You end up losing the money you paid for the course and you will have to retake it.

some classes at my university have strict attendance but most dont. most classes say that attendance in classes is around 5% -10% of the grade so as long as you go to class at least 80% of the time, you are fine.

you are required to attend the first two days of class to keep your name on the attendance list but after that, its whatever

We have attendance policies in smaller classes. For example, my spanish class has ~20 people and if you miss four classes, you get 25 points off your grade. Also in my news writing class, we have a quiz or classwork every class, so if you miss, you get 0s.

But in lectures (~250-300 people) you can miss freely, unless that class has clickers or any other system for attendance points.

At my first university If you skipped 3+ times your grade would be lowered by 1/3 of a grade for each missed class after 3. So you could fail out with like 9 absences for example even if you get good grades.. or 6 absences if you're a B student.
My smaller college, after I transferred, counts class participation as class attendance. If you miss too much (depends on professor) they lower the class participation grade which is like 10% the total grade.

In high school, I skipped in increments each year. My senior year, I probably skipped about 25 times and got a phone call

In university, I probably go to about half of my classes

Yes, i skipped guitar class so many times (and Still got a 98 in the class) and wouldnt show up to my guidance conseuler helper/aid period

In high school, no. If I ever didn't feel like going to a particular class/didn't have my work done for it, I'd just take the day off school. I didn't do it regularly though. Maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

Yes, at least a third of my classes as a college freshman (still aced them) and most of my senior year in high school
