I think Blurred Lines will sell 250-300K next week. Katy is easily going to do 500K+ If she nears 600K #1 is in sight.

Robin Thicke claims an elite 10th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Blurred Lines" (featuring T.I. and Pharrell). Meanwhile, Katy Perry provides a sneak peek at the battle expected next week when "Roar," which debuts this week at No. 85, and Lady Gaga's "Applause," which will bow next week, will challenge Thicke for the summit.
"Lines" leads Radio Songs for a sixth week, gaining by 3% to a record-extending 227.5 million all-format audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS. Last week, with 219.8 million in audience, the song passed Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" (212.2 million, July 9, 2005) for top weekly sum in the chart's 22-year history. (Despite its continued gain, the record streak of 10 consecutive weeks of being the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer ends this week for "Lines," as Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" (23-16) claims the award with a 43% increase to 43 million impressions.)
On Digital Songs, "Lines" logs a 10th week at No. 1 with 346,000 downloads sold (down 14%) in the Nielsen SoundScan tracking week. With its latest frame on top, "Lines" ties three other songs for the second-most weeks at No. 1 in the Digital Songs chart's history: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" (featuring Wanz) earlier this year and two Black Eyed Peas tracks, "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling" (both 2009). Flo Rida's "Low" (featuring T-Pain) (2008) has racked the most weeks atop Digital Songs (13).
Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines': Album Track-By-Track Review
"Lines" posts a sixth week atop the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart (2 million U.S. streams, down 7%, according to BDS). It holds at No. 2 on Streaming Songs (7.6 million, down 7%), while tallying a 10th week at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and a 13th frame atop R&B Songs.
"Lines" is the first song to top the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks since Rihanna's "We Found Love" (featuring Calvin Harris) racked 10 frames on top beginning the week of Nov. 12, 2011. It's one of just eight songs by lead solo males to rule for 10 weeks or more in the Hot 100's 55-year history and the first such song to do so since Flo Rida's "Low" likewise led for 10 weeks beginning on Jan. 5, 2008.
Ahead of next week's likely shakeup thanks to Perry and Gaga (keep reading for details), the Hot 100's entire top 10 remains in place from last week, with "Lines" boasting a two-to-one overall chart points lead over Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop," which banks a third nonconsecutive week at No. 2. ("Lines" loses 10% of its points total from last week, while "Stop" declines by 6%.)
"Stop" scores an eighth week atop Streaming Songs (7.7 million, down 7%). It slips 2-3 on Digital Songs (158,000, down 9%) but advances 25-22 on Radio Songs (48 million, up 5%).
Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" stays at No. 3 on the Hot 100, while topping Hot Rock Songs for a record-setting 21st week. It bests the 20-week reign of Foo Fighters' "Rope" in 2011 (when the chart was solely airplay-based; the list now encompasses airplay, sales and streaming). Although it decreases by 3% to 121 million, "Radioactive" reaches a new peak (3-2) on Radio Songs.
Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" (featuring Pharrell) holds at No. 4 on the Hot 100 after peaking at No. 2 for five weeks. It dominates Dance/Electronic Songs for a record-extending 13th week (dating to the survey's origin earlier this year).
Jay Z's "Holy Grail" (featuring Justin Timberlake) maintains its No. 5 rank on the Hot 100, pushing 20-14 on Radio Songs (60 million, up 25%) and 3-2 on Digital Songs (166,000, up 2%). It lifts 10-8 on Streaming Songs, although with a 1% drop to 2.8 million. It tops Rap Songs for a third week.
Also repeating their Hot 100 ranks from last week at Nos. 6-10, in order: Anna Kendrick's "Cups (Pitch Perfect's When I'm Gone)"; Bruno Mars' "Treasure"; Zedd's "Clarity" (featuring Foxes); Capital Cities' "Safe and Sound"; and Maroon 5's "Love Somebody."
In addition to Del Rey's "Sadness" winning top Airplay Gainer honors outside the top 10, Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" (featuring Majid Jordan) is the Hot 100's top debut at No. 21. It enters Digital Songs at No. 8 with 109,000. Lorde's "Royals," meanwhile, boasts top Digital Gainer kudos (39-24), up by 35% to 77,000. As previously reported, "Royals" this week becomes the first Alternative Songs No. 1 by a lead female soloist since 1996.
As for Perry and Gaga: the former's "Roar" dents the Hot 100 at No. 85 thanks solely to almost four days of airplay. (As previously noted, its expected lofty first-week sales, as well as streaming, will count toward next week's Hot 100.) "Roar" bounds on to Radio Songs at No. 29 with 40 million impressions from 258 stations. It's the highest debut since Rihanna's "Diamonds" opened at No. 28 on the radio tally the week of Oct. 13, 2012. ("Diamonds" went on to crown the Hot 100 and Radio Songs for three weeks each). "Roar" represents Perry's highest start on Radio Songs, despite its midweek arrival; she previously began best with "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg) (No. 31) in 2010. "Gurls" was the lead single from "Teenage Dream," which yielded five Hot 100 No. 1s (tying Michael Jackson's "Bad" in 1987-88 for the most leaders from a set). "Roar" introduces Perry's "Prism," due Oct. 22.

Lady Gaga's "Applause" misses the Hot 100, although even with just two days of airplay it comes oh-so-close to the 75-position Radio Songs ranking with 16 million impressions via 210 stations. Still, it storms onto Dance/Electronic Songs at No. 16. "Applause" previews Gaga's "ARTPOP," due Nov. 11.
