Excited for this, not sure what to expect since you stopped updating your countdown at YTT But you have a great taste so I'm sure I'll love your choices.
What to expect this year: More mainstream pop, less alternative (Sad, I know). Didn't have the time to discover new artists/bands. Not a lot of visits either to Alternative Addiction or Absolute Punk.
Anyway, we have a lot of counting down to do so let's kick this off!
adam lambert NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES
Last year's #100:Yellowcard, "Sing For Me"
The problem this era is poor single choices. "Tresspassing" has some potential hits, his label
needs to tap on those.
flo ridaI CRY
Last year's #99: Gavin DeGraw, "Not Over You"
He's the mainstream rapper I can't hate. His songs are just too fun to listen to.
jojoDISASTER
Last year's #98: LMFAO, "Sexy and I Know It"
Still can't believe this song flopped. It shouldve smashed like "Too Little Too Late."
no doubtSETTLE DOWN
Last year's #97: Owl City, "Deer In The Headlights"
One of the many disappointing comebacks of this year. Maybe I expected too much.
rihanna WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
Last year's #96: The Cab, "Bad"
Probably my least favorite Rihanna song in the recent years. She still has a couple more
entries coming up.
5 down, 95 more to go. The second AI graduate in the chart and one of the most overrated acts of the year are both coming up, plus a lot more. Stay there!
Good. The two best placed songs from this section happen to be the two I like the most from this section as well. Awww, sad to see there's not going to be much alternative songs.
