The only contender to #1 is B.o.B. But I think the distance on iTunes between Rude boy and Nothin on you is more or less the same as last week. And the radio airplay wont change much either....

The distance may be a little smaller (maybe around 25 millions)... but I think that would be enough to hold that #1...

"Alejandro" is not going to #1 on the Hot 100. She will never get the same digital hype "JD" and "PF" got, at least not with the 3rd single from the 2nd album, and 7th single in a row. "BR" got the hype cause it was the first single, but of course it's airplay flawed it's performance.

Glad to see some change in the Top 10, or movement at least. "OMG!" Get it Usher!! "In My Head" giving Jason his second top five. "Breakeven", "My Chick Bad", and "YLIMD" reaching new peaks. Hoping all reach the Top 10, though it's obvious Ke$ha will.

Alejandro will do well, but it's not better than Bad Romance.. and BR was 1st single and Alejandro 3rd single .. If BR couldn't peak #1, do you think that "Alejandro" can peak #1?

Yes, that's what I meant. "BR" could've, but too many circumstances followed. As for "Telephone"...sure, album sales can be considered but I think that's more of an excuse. Her fans just can't accept it not going #1. When in reality, if the video came at the appropriate time, it's digital sales could have went through the roof and became another huge single.

And if album sales is a valid reason, then that makes "Alejandro" even more sensitive. The pre-release sales thing....EH. People are going to buy what they want to buy, regardless, I believe. I just don't see "Alejandro" sales nor airplay getting high enough to go #1. That's going to take either 100m+ airplay or very large digital sales.
