People are buying his multi-platinum R&B album in addition to his soon-to-be multi-platinum 8-minute long single.
Are they? The sales of that album is dipping, so the digital sales of its singles should be better, no?
And it's funny you say this and then always bring up the digital performance of "We Belong Together" and ignore the fact that its respective album was selling rather well at the time.

I don't think length has that much to do with the digital performance of "Mirrors." It's not like "Suit & Tie" saw an enormous digital performance either.
Exactly, THIS! The song is selling pretty well, probably it's some kind of dissapoinment and that's why I'm happy it didn't go to #1 because of the average digital performance. Plus, he is getting those sales week after week thanks to his amazing R&B album
"Mirrors' never showed to be a monster digital seller, just see the first week, it didn't explode.. Probably it's gonna increase with some performances but radio is an excellent way of promo
Can't Hold Us in other hand Monsters abd Kings of The Year: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Radioactive's longevity Incredible!! Close to that 3x Platinun
Mirrors and Suit & Tie were nothing new to music or revolutionary, they were more like throw back and that's why they didn't top the charts. Dot get me wrong the songs are both amazing but once again nothing new from the old JT.
