Nip/Tuck was downright unwatchable towards the end.
And Glee has been such a disappointment. There was something really special about those season one episodes. I happily tuned in each week because it really felt like the show really had a clear direction. I still tune in every week, but I question why I'm still loyal. Ryan's bag of tricks plot points has been used up, and most of the story seems to have no clear purpose that drives it in any particular direction.
At one point during the The Glee Project on Oxygen, Ryan said something along the lines of "I don't write with a goal in mind, I write what inspires me at the moment." Therein lies every problem I have with last and the current seasons of Glee.
I stopped watching Nip/Tuck for a good 4 months during one of the later seasons cause it just got too ridiculous. I recently finished it and I was so pissed at the series finale.
Don't even get me started on the countless unresolved stories Ryan has throughout his shows...
It's not nearly as crazy or weird as people are making out to be, but then again I've been a fan of horror for a long time. Having said that, I did enjoy it. It eclipses mostly every show on tv that can be considered horror.
The relationships were pretty believable. The ghosts were handled very nicely. The ugly thing in the basement was doing nothing for me, tho.

Kudos to you. You really said it all. I agree 100%. And still I catch myself watching every damn new show he makes.
The ratings for the pilot were pretty solid. It'll surely go down for next week's episode but we'll see.
BTW, I keep on forgetting that Ryan Murphy created Nip/Tuck. I loved that show for the first couple of seasons and stopped watching after the season with the carver... Ugh. I also loved Popular.
I love everything about this show. And I hope there will be many seasons with many different stories. I've heard there will be 13 episode for the first season? Can't wait for next week.
I watched this last night. I don't even know what to think. Did the lead female actually have sex with someone in that black suit or was it a ghost, is she really pregnant?

I think the man in black suit is a demon and the baby wil be the anti-christ or the devil....
