Some of the songs on the lists aren't true, including Blown Away, but Kelly most definitely shat all over Carrie's version of I Know You Won't. Like, it's not even debatable.
Still not a fan of her vocals on WFL. They were strong but the song calls for more vulnerability that Kelly clearly lacked.
Kelly may sing it with more "passion" but her version lacks of Carrie strength, which is what makes the song so flawless!

That's the thing. The way Carrie sings the song is very static and repetitive. Quiet verse, loud chorus with lot of sliding into notes and repeat. Kelly was much more powerful (when needed to be) and dynamic with her performance which is why I'm saying her rendition is superior.
Kelly absolutely destroyed, murdered, slaughtered and left Blown Away hanging on the streets. She should have never touched the song.
Why so pressed? She did covers on her tour for fun, some of them came to be better than original and some did not. Blown Away is def better in Carrie's original version but if we're talking about IKYW, Kelly did it more justice. And she never lacked emotion and strenght in her vocals.
