I dont know if betray is the word! however itd weird that she only perfom 4 minutes! They could easily give another minute for another song .... but who know! anyway I like the perfomance! Im happy that MTV is not liking Britney balls like other act!
If mtv screwed anyone, it was Rihanna with Bey. They milked Britney for sure tho. Bey was too long. She needs to take notes from Brit and realize less is more.
It doesn't matter how long the performance is, tbh.
If Britney stepped up her game just a little bit, maybe, just maybe she wouldn't be so easily overshadowed.

No, you aren't.
Bey being given 15 minutes is a sign of respect and reverence for her. They don't do it just for the hell of it. Any stan would be happy with their fave being given such a time slot.

Ok, I can accept this impartial opinion.
The Youtube comments about her lip syncing and her stiffness speak more volumes than media publications. So do the universally negative comments on her VMA performance.
Britney did phenomenally. Her performance was so good and I can't stop watching it. People are doing the most because of the lipsyncing which she has been doing for over 10 years. Get over it.
She was very competent and extremely fierce, this is her best performance in a long time! I even prefer it over Billboard's which was epic as well!
My girl delivered it and I preferred it over Beyoncé's and replying to the topic: I don't think so. They just let the great artists come one after the other Beyoncé - 5H - Britney!
And Britney would NEVER accept a 15 minutes performance. She doesn't even need that.
Her team betrayed her by relegating her to a background singer / dancer for half of her own damn performance. They gave her no creative direction or props or staging. They just threw her out there with a rent-a-rapper.
Sure, her performance might have been slightly better received if it didn't follow the night's highlight, but it still wouldn't be a talked about moment. It just wouldn't get negative attention because of the contrast, but it was never going to get positive attention either.
She struggled with the short time slot she performed. That was already bad enough. No need to prolong the viewers' suffering by extending Brittle Knee's performance to 15 mins.
