The second thing I think of is how culturally rich Europe is. Croatian architecture is completely different to Swedish architecture. German history is completely different to French history. The Finnish language is completely different to the Spanish language. Just because it's that same continent doesn't mean it's the same country. You'd have to ask about each country individually.
The third thing I think of is how rude French people are, specifically Parisians. People from the French country-side are incredibly polite and friendly. But people from Paris are just...I don't even want to talk about it, it makes me that angry. I think it's because there's a bit of hostility between the French and the English, as well as the French and Americans. But being a tourist in Paris is so hard. Literally everyone speaks English and no one will help you. It's so rude. No one seems to have any manners.

Parisians have the same mentality as Londoners, New Yorkers
It's a big city. I don't know where you live, but do you expect them to hold your hand and take a nice little stroll with you before inviting you to their house for tea?
People think Paris is a quaint little village when in reality it is the most, or one of the most, important cities in mainland Europe
Most people don't speak English, but why would they? They live in France. Would you expect your fellow Americans to speak French...just because?
I'm glad the French are keeping on to their culture and heritage and not succumbing to pressure to speak English
Americans expect EVERYONE in foreign countries to speak ENGLISH, which always boggles my mind
