Lady Gaga’s bisexual, so yes, she is included in LG BTQ pride. It’s not just about lesbians and gays, it’s about everyone coming together.
For lack of a better expression - if you bite the hand that feeds you enough, you’ll stop getting fed. Why do so many people, no matter what they’re fighting for, try to discredit and resist help from high profile individuals? If you keep telling someone who walks the walk and talks the talk to **** off, eventually, they will.
“She’s not even pretty” - umm, are you ****ing kidding me? That’s what you base who can support the gay rights movement on? **** you.
How can Kelly Rowland be the true gay icon if she’s not a part of the LGBTQ community, if your definition says that a gay icon must be? Again, you’re an idiot.
“You’re a straight, white, woman - you don’t know **** about getting bullied.” Ummm, the feminist movement is a huge part of human rights in the United States. Learn your history before you criticize an entire gender.
Does someone need to be like you to defend you? Are you saying that white people shouldn’t have defended black people during slavery? Are you saying that men shouldn’t have supported women’s suffrage? I’m not female, black or muslim, but I stand up against anyone who is bullied for being any of those things - is that wrong of me?
Just because you’re gay, doesn’t mean you speak for me - so don’t think that just because someone’s filming you means that you are the voice of the gay pride parade. Idiot."
Tyler always has the true tea.

This is a drag, and Kelly Rowland is nobody's icon or spokesperson since according to that gay you either need to be gay or lesbian. Dumb ****er didn't even include bisexuals or transgenders.

You better check that mother****ing tone with me girl, cause I am not the one to get cute on. You have your opinion, he has his, and I have mine so leave it at that.

Honestly, you can dislike Lady Gaga as an artist. Frankly, I don't give a **** about that anymore...
But why the HECK would you attack her as an advocate? She got a LOT of people to call their Senators to repeal DATD, she campaigned in Maine for the repeal of DATD, she has been given several awards for her activism, she helped get New Yorkers to call their representatives to pass marriage equality in NY, and I'm sure she will be very active in the current attempt to repeal DOMA.

Erm "they're white woman".
Yes they're women. So they know exactly what it's like to be treated differently because of their gender. Women are still stereotyped in society. Men are still seen as the dominant gender. Women still get paid less in the workplace.
This guy is an idiot. Not everything is about being ****ing gay! 'Firework' wtf. That's about being yourself. He's one of those annoying ****ing **** who think the world revolves around homosexuality! GET OUT OF IT! The world has so much more to offer than gay clubs and pride!

Okay, while he's right about Gaga being too over-idolized. I don't see how she could be doing anything but trying to help gay people. At this point, I honestly think she genuinely cares. And if he's not gonna support her, he should at least appreciate what she does. Also, he's saying "She's not a spokesperson for us, she isn't one of us." But, isn't the fact that she's "from the outside" and able to look in and appreciate everyone for who they are, see the unfairness, and speak out against it, isn't that what a spokesperson is? I'm not saying that he should go all "Hail Mother Monster" but he shouldn't say stuff like "You don't know **** about being bullied." Because that's the close-mindedness that leads to discrimination and hate against anyone on the basis of anything, whether it be religion, race, or sexual orientation. Like he said "You don't know **** about the struggles we've gone through," he doesn't know Lady Gaga enough to judge her and say that she's had a life of rainbows and glitter. So, he has his opinion, which he's entitled to, but he definitely shouldn't say "Gaga, **** you." because she does a lot for gay people.
Lawd take me away, I just defended the Gaga.

As far as I can tell you were the first one to resort to swearing when my post was perfectly civil. Sorry for giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that you would realize this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Didn't you just recently post a thread in which you berated JoaoP for saying that ugly people can't have an opinion (paraphrase) and now you don't think that this guy, who says Lady Gaga can't be a spokesperson for gay rights because she's not pretty, is an idiot?

Kelly has a gay following, and has for awhile now since she started traveling. Nicole, girl I won't even go into that in here.

To the people that are agreeing with him: why do you have a problem with a very well-known artist advocating gay rights?

Agreed. You can criticize many aspects of an artist. But criticizing their philanthropy is just stupid. If anything he should be even happier that someone not invested in his "cause" (for lack of a better word and, more importantly, since he doesn't consider bisexual an adequate orientation) is taking such a stance, especially when they have nothing to gain from it directly themselves.

He said them, not all white women. And Gaga made $100 million last year and has always been privileged.

So because she's lived a comfortable life, she's not allowed to advocate for gay rights?

Stop reaching before you fall. Nowhere in the video did he say she can't be a spokesperson because she wasn't pretty so where the **** did you even get that from?

Gaga can sing about self empowerment if she wants. She never claimed to be the savior of homosexuality or anything. What's so wrong about feeling comfortable with who you really are? That's all she's really preaching on.
And how the hell are you gonna come for Gaga for not being a lesbian and then say that Kelly Rowland, a straight female, is a true GAY icon? Dumb ****ing ass.
You guys are one big ball of pressed mess if you honestly agree with this ignoramus.

Right, cause last time I checked Miss Gaga has done plenty for the gay community, and it involved more than just having a tantrum on camera during gay pride like this queen.
I'm still dead at the whole "straight white woman" comment. I would expect that from a caveman-like heterosexual, but nawt a queen.

I didn't say she wasn't and neither did he. He said, she doesn't speak for all gay people and sometimes she acts like she does and the crowd seemed to agree as well. And he criticized self acceptance tunes he had a huge point, especially since most of them were not honest.
