Cheek 2 Cheek. No matter if my fave was releasing an album of a genre I didn't like, I wasn't going to fake my thoughts and pretend to stan just because it was a Gaga album. The music is not my type and all the "wow this is real music", "she's such a good singer for making this record" and all that pandering by fellow stans made me distance myself from my own fave and her fanbase. Not even ARTPOP and the pre GUY mess made me do it, but C2C did. I didn't unstan, but I just kept my thoughts on Gaga for myself and decided to stop visiting the base, C2C album thread and all of that because it really wasn't my place.

Taylor Swift with 1989. If anything, I ended up not liking her as much as I did before and she was still successful before that so it wasn't "jealousy"
