Adele is the first female artist to top the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously since Ke$ha ("TiK ToK," "Animal," respectively) the week of Jan. 23, 2010).

Having reached No. 21 last week on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart (this week dipping to No. 22), "Deep" is the highest-peaking Alternative hit by a solo female artist to top the Hot 100 since Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" spent one week atop Alternative and four frames atop the Hot 100 in spring 1990.

Leona flopped after her first album. Adele is having success with her second album. I'm not saying she will get another #1, but these things are not predictable. Most people did not think RITD would be #1 on the Hot 100.

Seriously, "Black and Yellow" and RITD are two of the worst #1's in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. I am 100% sure that neither of those songs would have made the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 back in 1976. Fortunately, Lady Gaga will make sure both of those songs spend only one week at #1. I guarantee you that The Edge of Glory will debut at #1 next week

Yeah, I know that you're kind of a troll and all, but seriously, I can name at least 100 songs that were worse #1's than "Black and Yellow", let alone RITD. We can start with "Disco Duck" by Rick Dees if you wish.
