She was the opening act for the New Kids on the Block: Live Tour from September 18, 2008 until December 4, 2009.
The Fame Ball Tour started at March 12, 2009.
And she also was the opening act for the Pussycat Dolls in January/February 2009 and May 2009.

The Fame Ball Tour ended at September 20, 2009.
And The Monster Ball Tour started at November 27, 2009.

So yes, she has been touring for 2 years now.
Which will be almost 3 years when this tour ends.

To see a pop artist so dedicated to touring is really inspiring for music. Usually only rock artists are touring so much and for so long without releasing a new record. Not even Madonna has done so much.

Sadly, I don't believe these new dates will be in support of a new record. I mean they're selling them as The Monster Ball, so the most she'd do is revamp the stage again. I don't see the album out before June with these new dates. If it is, then expect an entire new tour like in August or something LOL.

Yep, but April your dates were announced months ago and Gaga still says the album will be out early next year. We already have the title too. Not to mention than it's hard to imagine Gaga doing the same show in the U.S. again.

I love the idea that Gaga is always evolving, rather than makng sharp breaks between eras. The latter is so Madonna's game anyway.
