What happened to all the old ATRLers besides of the mods?

I always find it interesting that when you read an old thread, 90% of the posters will be banned. Pick any random thread from 2007 or something. I don't get it

I mean, most of the people I see in those threads are
the ones I used to talk or see everywhere in my first months here.
Originally,it was going to be June 2011 but ATRL denied me.Skip over the period when ATRL stopped accepting new members and then you have my freshly made ATRL account in September 2011.
