+ as if artists sell their songs without people listening to them first. vevo, radio, tv... their music is exposed to us for free all the time but the minute someone records it or shares it they're douches
artists still make so much money from touring/merch/endorsements which stem from their music being widespread in the first place
lily allen is right. people would pay for streaming services like spotify when convenience is just perfectly packaged for a really economical price.
not here for $20/month. don't even say $10/month because that's exactly like spotify's (without the $5 student discount) and it's not even hifi (which tidal is mainly marketing anyway) and i'd rather support spotify who offers a free option with the expense of ads.
