What a great year did this lady had. She managed to do what most Disney stars fail so miserably at doing and I admire her for that. Despite all the crazy talk and **** going around her, she succeeded in making people notice her and at the end of the day it's what counts. I absolutely love the growth that she is showing with this record and she managed to become more than just a guilty pleasure for me. I truly feel that this is the strongest album to ever come out from a Disney star. I also love how it tells a story from beginning to end, opening up with a love confession with Adore You, going through a breakup in Wrecking Ball and then saying FU and moving on. It's fun, it's raw, it's crazy, it's real. Miley really delivered this time, both musically, lyrically and artistically. Other standouts include We Can't Stop, SMS, 4x4, getitright, Drive and Do My Thang.
I just love this album's sound. It's so cool and laid back and at the same time it makes me move. You can't deny James Arthur's talent and his voice is incredible - soulful and powerful, he delivers an incredible performance. At the same time you can feel all of the raw emotion coming from him. The whole album does sound a bit raw to be honest and it's what I love most about it. It just feels sincere and believable, it's like he poured out his soul into it and I love that they did all the acoustics versions of the tracks cause they emphasise exactly that. The first half of the album is pure perfection IMO. While I don't feel the second half that much and it brings the album down in my charts, it's still a great debut from the X Factor winner. My favourites include Get Down, New Tattoo, Lie Down, Recovery, Supposed, Emergency and You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You.
I have kinda developed a love-hate relationship with Gaga, while I love her when the GP is not feeling her and start to dislike her when she is more successful. I do not know where this comes from but for me ARTPOP is way better than Born This Way and is also one of the best pop albums of the year. While it grew old quite fast I still bop to most of the tracks. The problem with it is that she overhyped it too much - she kept on saying how it is the best thing ever like she is doing something out of this world while at the end it didn't turn out the way she probably wanted it to. The app was a huge disappointment as well. Leaving all this ART in POP stuff out, the album delivers a lot of great pop songs - my favourites include Venus, G.U.Y, Sexxx Dreams, Do What You Want, ARTPOP, Dope, Gypsy and Applause.

First of all I want to wish you all Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. May all your wishes come true
Before I reveal my TOP 5 Albums of 2013, I though it would be good to give you all a little recap of how my charts looked so far and thank you all for the comments so far. So here are my Top 15 albums, followed by the next two albums.
Thank you once again and I hope you enjoy the rest of the charts.
06 Lady Gaga 'ARTPOP'
07 James Arthur 'James Arhur'
08 Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz'
09 Rudimental 'Home'
10 Ariana Grande 'Yours Truly'
11 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 'The Heist'
12 Kings of Leon 'Mechanical Bull'
13 Jay Z 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'
14 Drake 'Nothing Was The Same'
15 HAIM 'Days Are Gone'
16 Jessie J 'Alive'
17 John Newman 'Tribute'
18 Avicii 'True'
19 Demi Lovato 'Demi'
20 Britney Spears 'Britney Jean'
Opening up my TOP 5 Albums of 2013 is Rebecca Ferguson with her sophomore studio album 'Freedom'. I just love Rebecca. She was my favourite back in her season on The X Factor and I loved her debut, as well, and I feel like she stepped it up with 'Freedom'. It definitely feels more mature and sounds like she found herself with this record more, like she was more in control of the whole process. I love that she writes her own songs and that she uses her music to express herself even better that she can with words. I also love that she is so shy while speaking but sounds like a diva while singing - her voice is soulful, powerful and unique at the same time and you just can't mistake it for anybody else. The albums doesn't disappoint, delivering a mixture of soul, pop and r'n'b which is just perfect for this time of the year. Almost every track is a standout for me, but my favourites have to be I Hope, Bridges, All That I've Got, My Freedom, Beautiful Design, We'll Be Fine, I Choose You and Freedom.
So close but still so far, Katy Perry is a step short of the Top 3 this year. One of my most anticipated albums of the year, I can't deny that PRISM was great when it came out but quickly wore out. Even though I got tired of it fast, it still is a great record. I can't help but compare it to Teenage Dream and I'm afraid she couldn't top it in my books and I was a little disappointed by that. She definitely manages to show growth in a way, which I feel was what she wanted to do, while still delivering a fun album. I love PRISM's message about 'letting the light in' and I feel it fits great with the theme. Everything about this era has been executed well visionary and artistically, starting with the videos, message and even the booklet, which I think is flawless. However, it falls a bit short musically for me -the first, more upbeat part is more fun and interesting, but the second part, with the slower songs, sounds a bit dated and uninspired and that is what brings the album down in my charts a bit. Standouts include Roar, Legendary Lovers, Birthday, Walking On Air, Unconditionally, Ghost, Dark Horse, Spiritual and Choose Your Battles.

The third place this year is for Lorde and her brilliant debut album 'Pure Heroine'. She came out of nowhere and her amazing album took me by surprise. While I needed some time to warm up to Royals, I was curious to listen to what else she has to offer and once I heard her album I was convinced that she is indeed amazing. Absolutely different than anything else in the industry, her record is both vocally and lyrically striking, and it is hard to believe that somebody her age can be so though provoking - Lorde is a gifted songwriter, on the verge of being a genius when it comes to lyrics. She remains true to herself by providing a very unique perspective on what it is to be a teenager these days and she does it in her own way, almost feeling that she creates her own little world with this record. And while doing this, Lorde's songs don't fail in being catchy as well. My favourite songs on the record include Tennis Court, 400 Lux, Ribs, Buzzcut Season, Team, White Teeth Teens and World Alone.
The second place in 2013 goes to Justin Timberlake's long-awaited return to music with his two-album collection 'The 20/20 Experience'. I've always been a fan of Justin and I've missed him putting music out and I feel like the industry missed his presence as well. I don't separate the two albums, rather than looking at them as a single project, even though I feel like the first part is miles better in the long term. Justin has always been doing his own thing, despite what the current trends are. With this project, he did something that we can only hope to become a trend in the industry - releasing a risky, experimental and challenging music that is incredibly well written and produced. Each song caters to different tastes, and while some may think the songs lengths are indulgent and dull, for me it all fits perfectly. I love that each song is unique, with its own lavish production, which creates a feeling of something classy that has definitely been lacking in music recently. While the second part falls a bit short overall, the whole project is like a re-up of his old style but with a warm and more elegant twist. Standouts include Pusher Love Girl, Suit & Tie, Strawberry Bubblegum, Tunnel Vision, Let The Groove In, Mirrors, That Girl, Cabaret, TKO, Murder, Amnesia, Only When I Walk Away and Blindness.
