They're expected to do 350K on their first week (that's not the amount of preorders they have). Also, 350K will be their lowest first-week debut since their first album (and 30K less than their previous album), so it kind of is a decline still
1D aren't up for pre orders yet, which they usually are by now, so it's unfair to judge. There's also no way 5SOS is doing 300K. Also if we look at how their first singles did - 1D's margin will be much larger than 50k between them and 5SOS. Also 5SOS isn't as big as they were last year.
As long as Carrie can debut with more than 200K I'm happy, I just want her to have steady sales & since 'Smoke Break' isn't doing too hot on the digital charts I'm trying to stay optimistic.
