Don't forget that Kelly once had a big era just like Katy with Teenage Dream (also with her second record) and we know how that turned out. I wouldn't be surprised if Katy will have a My December with her next album.
That doesn't mean I want Katy to flop, I'd love to see a more mature version of Teenage Dream, and I know she could be able to do that.

I feel Katy is a bit more level headed too and has probably learned from the mistakes of Pink and Kelly Clarkson to not go down that kind of a destructive path
