Shakira had an okay year.
Nicki Minaj had the best year out of every artist named. She did not have only 4 or 5 songs just like other artists have, but she has been in about 17 or 18 songs this year! She is the new hot artist, there are lots of artists calling her so she can do a collaboration with them. She has been in a million songs and deserves to be on the top 10 list!

What the hell ya talking about? Waka Waka slays everything Nicki has done in terms of success. And Shakira's tour is doing great so no, she didn't have an okay year but an AMAZING year, people here are ONLY into american music or british.

Waka Waka was extremely popular, but that's it. I like Latino music because I am Colombian. I love Shakira but I dont think think this was her year. Nicki Minaj was a success this year, and a lot of singers I know have collaborated with Nicki Minaj and some are waiting to collaborate with her in 2011. Shakira has made 2 popular songs, Waka Waka & Give It Up To Me, while Loca was not a big hit this year.
