Most overrared singers/bands on ATRL

ok, so I am going to agree with some people here:
01.Rihanna - She does nothing special. The music she creates is backed by Jay-Z and her vocals are really weak. She is also robotic in person. Also, her new haircut sucks. She was much prettier in her "S.O.S." (Rescue Me). Don't get me wrong, I dig some of her songs, but I just think she isn't that great. A lot of more deserving artists can pull off wut's she done. = X
02.Nelly Furtado - Aside from "Promiscuous," "Maneater," and "Say It Right," "Loose" is a snoozefest. Her music really isn't that unique and people generally don't give a reason for liking her. They like her because she looks exotic and makes arguably different music, but in general, she isn't that impressive. Again, don't get me wrong, I do like some of her songs...
haha, in conclusion, there are more that I am going to add later on, but I put these two up cuz they are examples of artists that I think are overrated--but that doesn't mean I don't like them. ;p

I'm gonna have fun with this topic, and these are mostly opinions btw.
- Kelly Clarkson (people think she's hot?)
- Rihanna (even after acting like a ***** in her video (in fact, 2 videos), she still gains a lot of respect, and her live performances aren't too great and people are hating on other artists because they're "untalented")
- Fergie (like above, she acts like a *****, she talks about sex, and people here like it. whenever somebody like T-Pain or Pretty Ricky talk about sex, people here despise it)
- Nelly Furtado (she wins too many survivors)
- Britney Spears (I agree with Warren, she's getting so much love, but she's been slacking off on what she does best)
- Beyonce (some of her singles are VERY overrated)

Theres probably a few others I'm not thinking of. These artists a lot of people love on here but are talked about way too much. Ex. a lot of people on here like Linkin Park but they're not *****d to death in topics.

fergie (she ain´t bad tho)

and I can't remember any other artists that are overrated
because most of them actually do a great job, and deserve the attention they get
like Rihanna, Avril and many others.

Yes, because Ryan and myself post about Korn as much as the Rihanna, Beyoncé and Nelly Furtado fans. I am not taking it personal, because there are virtually no Korn fans here. I created one thread specifically for news and updates regarding Untitled, Ryan's doing a survivor for that album next month, and I've certainly cut down on mentioning them in unrelated threads. Overrated is a pretty big exaggeration.
