Why exactly do I stan for Katy Perry? Well, let me go way back in...nah, just forget it. I'll keep it simple, since I'm only signing up.  Katy's music is a drug, and I can't get get enough. Her debut tells the story of her life so far, and every song is relatable in some aspect. Her music has helped me get through so much stuff in my life, such as fights, deaths, and good events. That's why I label myself as a KatyCat.

I'm here to stan for Queen Miley Cyrus.
I love her because at her age she's not afraid to make mistakes and show her true self, unlike all the other disney puppets who pretend to be angels. I love her music because it actually has meaning, and most of her music is written by herself. I love her because she's hot as ****, i just love her and to be honest she's my obsession. She's my favorite artist and for sure im her best stan.

I am stanning for Ke$ha.
She absolutely doesn't care what people think and isn't afraid to speak up. In just 4 months she has received 1500+ plays in my Last FM library. That usually takes much longer than that for other artists I love. And lastly, she is absolute fun.

Pixie Lott - Talent? I Think So!
she has every performing talent going; acting, dancing and most of all singing. she can do them all amazingly. She has worked her way up as opposed to just getting lucky.
She has been writing songs since she was 6 years old (with her cousin at first). She went on to spent her teenage years (until she got a deal) travelling across the country to auditions for musicals and shows, as well as trying to get a deal. She finally got one with mercury records.
She released her first single 'Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)' in summer '09, when it debuted at number 1. This made her the first female solo act to have a first single debut at number 1 (not to come of reality shows, such as X-Factor).
She then released her second single 'Boys And Girls' which also reached number 1. Her debut album 'Turn It Up' was released to positive reception. Her name is all over the writing credits on the album, so nobody can say that she is another 'teen pop robot'.
she does it herself.
She is again working her way up, to the American market. Instead of working with largely famous producers this time around (she worked with hot producers such as RedOne on her debut) she is also working with unknown producers, such as labyrinth. She also insisted in getting a starring role in a film to try and become famous in America as a singer and actor, instead of just a singer. She did it! she got the lead role in an upcoming american film 'Fred', which will be released before her American debut album. so you can tell she doesn't just do things by the book, she does it her won special way. and i love her for it.
Why I Stan For Her
I stan for Pixie Lott because her songs are all relatable in some way or another. she has multiple talents. the tracks on her album are all so different from each other, but yet they each have a unique flair, and that distinct sound that makes it her's.
All of this, plus all of the above section.
Plus, she is 100%, undeniably, so, completely HOT. AS. HELL.
I AM her biggest stan.

It seems there are 4 more spots left before I need to start making preliminary eliminations!
If exactly 4 more people sign up within the next 9-10 hours, that won't be necessary.
It would be great to get all of the major ATRL stanbases represented. There are no Beyoncé or Britney Spears sign ups as of yet.

I am a stan for Jason DeRulo..
Jason DeRulo, at the moment, is one of the most underrated, yet popular, artists of right now. His album isn't doing well, yet his two singles are hits, and his next one for 'Ridin' Solo' will hopefully follow in their footsteps.
But that's not the [only] reason why I am a fan/stan. Jason DeRulo is not only a great singer, but also is an amazing dancer. Once "Whatcha Say" came out, I automatically compared him to Chris Brown (another person I am a fan/stan of), because they both are talented in those two areas. His album, with only 10 songs, is amazing, so amazing I even made an album survivor for it (which is still going on), I do not hate or dislike one song from him. So far, all of those 10 songs are placed in my top 20 most played songs on my iTunes, all with over 200 plays. Every time he is on TV, I make sure to watch. I look at every tweet and facebook status he takes the time to write, and I watch all his videos at least once a day. When I made a tweet cloud a few days ago, I clicked to '1 month' and the 'large' cloud button, and "Jason", "DeRulo" were 2 of the biggest words listed, which makes it obvious that I talk about him a lot. I am one of the people that will sit there and continue to do this even if Jason does something stupid to hurt his career or loses all his fans/stans like me. I will still be here ridin' solo, singing his songs in my head, because the sky's the limit and I have fallen for his talent that anybody could hear even if they were deaf, or see even if they were blind.

Korn.
They've made a huge impact in the rock music world and they completely redefined my reason to live. I wouldn't say I "stan" for them, besides as a joke, but I don't get the same feeling with other bands' music, as I do with Korn, and it's evident that I am their biggest fan on ATRL. I've seen them in concert five times — soon to be six — and they are kind of like a religion. I've watched them grow up and go through some lineup changes, but I'm still supporting them and promoting their music. Most bands on the radio have been influenced by Korn one way or another.

lol i was having a hard time choosing who to pick.
At first it was between GaGa & Ashlee Simpson, but somebody wanted Ashlee already, and even though GaGa is my queen, I feel she is always best represented by Jimmy.
So I basically thought of some male artists I could represent since most of the female ones are either "famously" stanned by someone else on here, or are taken already.
Then the first name that came to my head was Jason DeRulo, and I am basically the only "famous" fan of his on here, like if people were to pick a stan of him then I would probably be either the only one listed or the most picked.

It's been less than a year since I discovered her music and already I've got 7 of her 8 major studio albums, watched all of her movies, joined various Janet forums...she truly has become an inspiration. You never cease to amaze me with your music, your achievement and especially your public personality. It has been 5 years since you departed that American Idol stage, and who could have imagined that country chick who had never been on a flight before is now flying everyday to expand her music horizon and bringing her country sound to every part of America. People buy your album not because of the fact that you are a sexy girl. Your music is so raw, so real, so down to earth, so believable that each of us can relate to. You put your heart, your emotion through every single song you sing and that's how we love it. I mean, I am an atheist, but you are the first person who can, to some extent, bring that God to me. I am not going to list how many #1s you've got, how many $$ you've made from your tour, how many vocalist awards you've won; cause everyone knows about it. What I want to say is, you're going to be the next legend in Country music.
