Yeah. I believe that it wasn't the video itself, it's just that the video brought the audio to the overall masses, which in term added to the dislike because the people were introduced to it.

That's probably true. Although didn't SH go Top 10/15 (somewhere high) on iTunes upon release? So people were already listening and enjoying it. But you're right, the video did expose the song to a lot of music snobs who decided to use the song in their "lyrics during my time VS 'Stupid Hoe'" thing.

It's so overlooked.
Becoming rather infamous for it's lack of valuable lyricism, the genius behind "Stupid Hoe" is overlooked by many. Lead by a bouncy beat that is simultaneously infectious and somewhat painful, not many rappers would dare to take it on. However, Minaj's knack of spewing lyrics at an inhuman pace comes in handy here, easily playing the beat to her advantage.
Lyrically, it's a diss towards longtime rival Lil' Kim, earning a simple response "you must be a stupid hoe" from the rap veteran, who was as unimpressed as the rest of the human population. Seemingly unfazed, Maraj continues to include the track in her concert performances, proving why she's one of the craziest musical acts around today.
^That's what I said about "Stupid Hoe" in one of my blog posts recently (couldn't be bothered typing up a new reason why it's overlooked).
