They should've done the original, it's been selling IMMACULATELY so I'm sure consumers would still be intrigued by it. Either way, this should continue to push her album sales for a Platinum certification.
They might as well release the cd version since it's been on the Top 500 since the release of Y&B. The public is clearly here for that versionl, that remix is just dreadful imo...

And yeah the remix is pretty much a mess, but I heard that terrible pop/club remix of "Somebody That I Used to Know" on the radio more than the original when it was big, so I don't think this would be overlooked.
How ironic if this half a**ed, awful remix of an amazing song smashed in the US for Lana. And what a damning indictment of the US singles chart it would be. Hilarious.
Noooo Young and Beautiful was on the verge of actually smashing. The fact that they're trying to break Lana into the US with this s**t is ridiculous though. If they are gonna release Summertime Sadness, at least release the original version
I heard THIS on radio this past weekend and I almost cried - IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD LANA ON AMERICAN RADIO and it was such an emotional moment for me. :cry:
