Starting off my top songs countdown with "I Know What You Did Last Summer" by Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello. Camilla is truly something else on this song. I love her vocals and the back & forth with Shawn.
"My Skin" by Lizzo is such a cute song. It's kind of basic for Lizzo's standards but the message is amazing and it definitely deserves a place on this list.
"Space Boots" by Miley Cyrus was one of the first songs on Dead Petz to click with me. The production is really haunting and it's def one of Miley's best songs.
"Used To Love You" is a total return to form from Gwen. It wouldn't sound out of place on her magnum opus, LAMB. In terms of comeback songs, this is definitely a 10/10.
I was introduced to "Conqueror" by Estelle's guest appearance on Empire. It's just a really beautiful song and her vocals are amazing.
"Devious Maids" returned for it's third season this year and I was slayed as always by this hot mess of a show. The season long plot, this time a series of murders, was a step down from previous seasons but nonetheless was definitely unpredictable. The show kept up the comedy which is the main reason I watch it so I thought it was deserving of being on this list.
I was really surprised by "Jessica Jones". I was expecting it to be another basic Marvel show and since Superheroes aren't really my thing, I held off on watching it. After seeing a particular gifset on tumblr or the main character (played by Kristen Ritter) I watched the first episode and fell in love with it. I binged watched the series in 48 hours which is a clear indication of how much I loved it. It was pretty much perfect from start to finish and i'm really excited to see what happens in Season 2, especially considering the events of the finale.
Had it not been for Lady Gaga, I probably wouldn't have watched "American Horror Story: Hotel" until long after it had aired. Freak Show was such a disappointment and bore that I was totally done with AHS. I'm so glad I watched this season because it's definitely my one of my favorite AHS series, only second to Coven. The show hasn't finished yet so there's still plenty of time for Ryan to disappoint, but judging from the episodes we've seen so far I have faith the show will be quality from start to finish.
