LOL Remember when Gaga was OBVIOUSLY going to outlast Katy?
I love both Rihanna and Katy and i think they both can coexist and slay together.
But Rihanna has been consistent unlike Gaga, even before ARTPOP - The Fame (Monster) sold more than double BTW - so thats not a fair comparison. Rihanna has a longer career also.
I think Rihanna will last longer. Rihanna has always had a more mature sound/image and I think when (if) Katy tries to make a more mature sound/image then I don't think she'll be as successful as she currently is.

It wouldn't surprise me if Rih outlast Katy because Rihanna is one of the biggest popstars ever, but Katy is consistent too, she had her first #1 WW 6 years ago and she still has #1 hits and #1 albums. Anything could happen. I hope they both last 30 years more.
I think Rihanna will outlast Katy, Rih has been in the industry for about 9 years and although Katy has shown no signs of decline, neither has Rihanna. So in the end I think Rihanna will outlast her.
I think it will be really interesting to see where Katy goes after this era. A bunch of people have recognized how Prism isn't really different from TD, and I can't tell whether people will get excessively annoyed or still bop to the hits if she continues

So these "bunches" of people obviously aren't really saying all that indicative.
I believe ICON will outlast Katheryn. Katheryn's music has kinda become predictable and to some extent monotonous. Don't get me wrong, I love bubblegum pop, and I USE Katy, ha albums, but ICON, ha sound is way more versatile and she keeps the GP on the edge of their seats, because her sound doesn't come across as predictable/monotonous.
