I'm sorry but as a black person who understands and has taken classes on Hip-Hop I know that it derives from African communication (mostly excercised by Blacks and Latinos in NY during the late 70's and 80's as it built a sense of community) and is now being exploited and commodified by White people. I will never discredit someone's talent because of their skin color but this is just getting plain ridiculous.
Eminem, Iggy, Macklemore, and somewhat Mac Miller. That's about it. And what's the point if the people that actually buy, support, and live on hip-hop doesn't use you.
They can have it hip hop has plagued the black community far too long. It's promotes violence hatred and hedonism. They can mess up their youth with it now.
Macklemore has decent flow and he sounds black. My problem is, they always sound so nasal, weak or they put on voices like Em and Iggy.
Macklemore is an exception to what I said about flow. However, I still don't use considering the antisemitic things he's done. Iggy, Mac Miller, Brooke Candy, Kreayshawn, Eminem, and Riff Raff are the main ones I have problems with.
White rappers are mostly terrible, and i'm not even being discriminatory. Iggy, Macklemore, Eminem, Asher Roth, Mack Miller.... YUCK. Awful, gimmicky pastiches of their black counterparts.
People just need to stick to their lanes.
