It isn't though. E.T and Dark Horse are garbage. And one could make a case for songs like BS, Style, WANEGBT, YBWM etc being better pop songs than TD.

TD is one of the most acclaimed songs of the decade by a pop girl. The other ones sans WANEGBT (whose lyrics are seen as a joke by most listeners anyway) have not received similar acclaim.
