Oh, I misunderstood it the first time I read it. Apparently even though it's being called 'Default-On' the ISPs talked him out of it and it's actually an Opt-In service. But he pissed off the ISPs by telling them to still call it Default-On, to try to make him look good or something, so they leaked the letter.

No, it's not. It's kinda the other way round. If parents want to protect their children they should take measures to get those filters. If parents don't care about their kids watching it, then they probably don't care about lots of other terrible things that their kids do or might do. Forcefully guiding them against one of those things (adult content in this case) isn't gonna be enough to protect those children.

My parents had this installed with TalkTalks home safe settings and it is annoying as ****. It even blocks pages on ATRL and other sites even if there isn't any **** on it. It even clocks illegal downloading. I tried to get it removed by saying to my parents that I need to download some test papers but they watch me like a hawk and only allow me to switch off the illegal downloading I am so thirsty All I can look at it half naked **** stars on google images since proxies don't load up videos
