Someone is seething. I'll spell it out then: There can't be a more impact when neither had any to begin with
So you're saying that two major commercial albums from two of the biggest pop stars of all time both had exactly zero impact, that they both left exactly no impression on the GP whatsoever?
Like it's not even debatable, ITZ was released in 2003, 3 years after the all time album sales peak.
GGGB was released 5 years later and their sales are about the same.
ITZ hard Toxic and I guess MATM, where GGGB has Umbrella, DSTM, TAB and Distrubia.
It was just bigger and left more legacy.

Ok obviously I was semi trolling but really. In 10 years (closer to now actually) no one will even know these albums existed. Maybe I meant neither had any lasting impact. Either way they are both meh.

GGGB will forever be known as Rihanna's breakthrough.
As long as Rihanna is remembered, that album is.
Good Girl Gone Bad had Umbrella, Shut Up & Drive, Don't Stop the Music , Hate That I Love You and Rehab. Rih was THE It Girl at that time.
You can't deny her biggest era .
