Chirs Brown's sophmore effort hits my chart at #8. He's done some growing up from his double platinum self-titled debut. The album starts of very strong with probably THE BEST uptempo track in my opinion "Throwed" the bumping beat, great lyrics, plus good vocals while Chris sings "I can't wait for us to be alone". With the help of T-Pain, Chris produces another hit with "Kiss Kiss" the hip hop beat and the catchy lyrics have defientely caught everyone's attention afteralll it did hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. The steamy, baby-making "Take You Down" shows Brown's adult side while Stargate produces another "Irreplaceable" this time with Chris' "With You". The song "You" is very simular to The Dream's "Shawty Is A Ten" and with a chorus full of yous Chris better release it and quick! Chris takes on another slow jam "Damage" as Chris owns up to the damage he's caused. Even though "Wall To Wall" is a great song it doesn't fit with the albums sound at all, should have been left as a bonus track. But the Scott Storch produced "Nice" makes up for it as Chris goes for a more guitar sound with a verse from west coast rapper Game. Brown pretty much has it made; pretty girls screaming his name, a great R&B album with guests appearances by Will.I.Am, Big Boi, Lil' Wayne, The Game, & Kanye West how could you go wrong?

#07: Blake Lewis - A.D.D. (Audio Day Dream)
Being the runner-up on American Idol isn't so bad especially when your album is better the actual winner's debut. And no I'm not talking about Clay Aiken. The beat-boxing Blake Lewis might have lost to Jordin on the reality show but musically I think Lewis takes it. His debut album A.D.D. (Audio Dy Dream) kicks off with the intro "Silence Is Golden" then heads straight into the funky first single "Break Anotha" which has a very catchy chorus. Then theres "Gots To Get Her" which has latin isnpired flava as Blake sings "I'll stop the world to get her". Then theres the cool "Know My Name" which has a guest appeance from Mr. Cool himself Lupe Fiasco as they both want YOU to know there names. "How Many Words" is an amazing slow jam that has that beat boxing that Lewis is famous for. But the highlight of this album is another slow jam titled "Surrender". Lyrically and musically the song is amazing so surrender to that ear candy. Then theres "Here's My Hello" which has an electro-pop beat as Blake sings "Heres my hello/don't say good-bye". What about the J.R. Rotem produced "Whatcha Got 2 Lose" which could have easily been the first single with the hot keys heading into the chorus, plus it was co-wrote by Lewis' American Idol bff Chris Richardson. The only downside to this album is all the interludes, you could loose some of them Blakey. But overall an amazing album of amazing sounds that people defientely wouldn't be wasting thier money on.
