This has nothing to do with "worshipping Beyoncé" and the outrage has spread to many people outside the stan community, at the end of the day he attacked a 2 year old black baby for having natural hair, on BET no less. It wasn't just the Beyhive dragging BET though. The natural hair girls and the Black Feminists were also very turned off by the comments and were attacking BET over it.
