I didn't mean to start anything earlier, but I also feel bad not following up. I'm just now home from work. The squid one was horrific and made me snap ASAP on it. I gave you the warning as a knee-jerk reaction to the graphic nature but since you removed it right away, I'll reverse the warning.

The cake one (which I see you don't have anymore anyway...) doesn't seem bad to me because it's just a cake. People are making a big deal out of nothing with that one, in my opinion. It's shaped creepy, but it's just a cake still.

It's shaped like a baby though and it's getting decapitated. It's not real, but it's a simulation.
It's like if someone got an avatar of cartoon sex and then argued that "it's just a cartoon" and "not real" and therefore should be allowed.
That's how I see it at least. I'm not freaking out over it, but I see why it would make so many people uncomfortable.

I love how every time search is disabled, the admins are "tweaking" things to fix the server and nothing is ever actually "tweaked" since we get the same results.

I think it's time you guys start considering donation packages with smaller amounts that most members won't feel stupid for giving up at once. $20 is not a lot in general, but to give up front for a website is just...

It's very embarrassing. And also disrespectful to the people who spent their money on it. Let's be real, ATRL+ is not a bargain at all. It barely offers anything. And even with the funds, I'd rather buy dinner an a movie. Not being ungrateful, but seriously.....being real.

What puzzles me in the fact that they are always "resolving issues with the server", but it crashes every other day. There are many alternatives. If they are simply saving up to buy a new server, I would prefer them to just say it, instead of having us blindly complain. How is it that we have censorship and are help "at a higher standard" than other forums when guest can rarely register because the server is always on life support, and it takes pages 2 minutes to load? They could have a donation drive, bring a designer in to add lots of new features and maybe the subscription number for ATRL+ would rise. You have to spend money to make money. They need to get new ad servers. There are plenty out there with pretty good negotiations.

And the reason it's a donation box at the bottom of the page is because it is a choice. This isn't our (the general members) site and it isn't our responsibility to fork over cash for upkeep. Especially if our money is not being seen. The server continues to fall short and we are loosing things slowly, but surely. We bring in traffic, and have the right to complain.

Mods, please ignore the h8rz and leave Search enabled. If needed, make the search gap 30 minutes or an hour instead of 10. The search feature is valuable.

The Best Of season is almost over. Won't that alleviate pressure? Search should not be the first victim of cutbacks.

I fail to see the significance of the search, cant you just search for threads using google? By enabling the search, I cant even navigate this website and the threads in a timely manner, so whats the point of searching for threads to begin with?
