That is not always true though. An album process goes through different phases. The sound of track #1 recorded, can differ from track #44. At the end it is what kind of album the artist itself wants to create, what vibe, what image. Just because certain tracks didn't made an album, doesn't mean they weren't good, it also could mean they were not fitting for the current direction. Every unreleased catalogue will have pearls that will never be heard for certain reason.
