Even though Blue is obviously titled after her daughter, I like how the lyrics are subtle enough so that those of us without children can apply it to a lover, or a relationship or something. She only sings "Blue" right before the last 30 seconds of the song. It makes me appreciate the song so much more. It's a beautiful song about love.
