I actually love Madison and her evil, selfish, and manipulative ways. Clearly a strong point in the show.
Last night's episode was great. Poor Misty, though.

I don't think they lost that many viewers with Asylum, but you have a point. All of that sounds like a recipe for success and the ratings seem to be good, so I guess it payed off.

Asylum > Murder House > Coven

Actually now that I checked, you're right, they didn't lose many viewers, but Coven did bring their viewers up about 1.5x.

I need to watch Murder House again because I feel like Coven could be my least favorite. I just love how many females there are in Coven because they're so much more interesting to watch than guys. Ben is probably one of my least favorite characters of all the seasons and the gay couple were awful.

Zoe clearly is the supreme. Once she finds out about Misty and Nan, she will show her true powers. She's a leader and manages to get **** done. Oh and most importantly, PROTECTS the coven.

I agree. I can't see it being anyone else unless they want to give the show a twisted ending. If it ends up being Madison, it would be interesting, kind of like a history repeats itself kind of moment since her and Fiona have so much in common. But truthfully I think its either going to be Cordelia or Zoe. Which is fine by me

I feel like they kinda foreshadowed the supreme being Cordelia last night. Her having hit rock bottom just to rise up again as the true supreme.

I think overall this season was meant to win back the viewers they lost with Asylum and to bring in new ones. I mean Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and Gabourey Sidibe mixed with witchcraft/voodoo is something you really couldn't dislike.

Exactly, it might as well not even be called American Horror Story anymore because there is literally no horror in Coven. It's more of a supernatural drama than anything.

The thing about Murder House is that it was so over-the-top and unapologetic about it that it made for a very entertaining season. Plus, Lange's character/performance in that season was outstanding, my favorite of the three seasons for sure.

The ending was the only major (minor?) issue I had with it if I recall correctly. I also haven't watched it in a while.

And I'm not saying Coven is awful or anything, though. Personal preference, I guess.

Seriously that's probably one of my major gripes with this season. The lighter tone brought in more viewers so i'm sure next season will probably be the same.

Yea good point, and Fionas random outbursts to Cordelia last night were insane. Oh and how Fiona was so ready to kill her own daughter for youth It's kind of uncalled for considering Fiona was never really like that with Cordelia...

I don't think Cordelia is the Supreme.

I was convinced Nan was going to be the supreme but now it's kinda impossibile and that rat tryinghardtobeawastedtumblrgirl aka Madison is definitely not, the only two persons I believe can be the supreme are Zoe (but c'mon it's too obvious) and Queenie (which could make sense because with her as the supreme she could end the truce between the Voodoo clan and the Coven) (I was hoping that randomly Patti Lupone was the one)
