There will (probably) be logic to what's going on. Fans being thirsty and wanting info/videos/singles doesn't mean she should oblige if it negatively effects their plan.
At this point in the campaign, the single should be announced as late as possible to avoid it prematurely taking off/getting coverage. My guess is that we'll know when the video drops and they'll bank on the hype pushing the single. They need to try and make it as eventful as possible to get peoples attention.
They're probably trying to organise what to do with the campaign, prepare for Roseland/tour and create the next album for a release in Q3/4. It's not like she's just sitting making memes on LM.com and laughing at us melt-downing (although she certainly spends more time than she should on that).

She wanted to do that for Y&I but then Interscope just sent the song to radio so that blew her cover. Maybe now that she's essentially managing herself (this new guy.. idk) she might be doing the radio release at the same time as the video.
