Its a grower for sure, this is very daring of her... so brave.
I hope it does well but not sure. This is tougher to swallow than a factory of writers writing your material.
It's definitely not terrible or anything (I guess I can see myself enjoying it if it hits while my phone is shuffling or something). It just feels rather aimless. The song's length is so short, yet I can totally see it becoming particularly jarring for that very reason.
The key changes sort of saved it from being a drab, honestly. Not bombastic enough for a premiere single, and certainly not for a comeback premiere single.

The song is amazing, like I'm happy. But what was the point of doing those Oscars, TV shows, jazz rape concerts just to release the music that will alienate the GP (as if the GP cares about her anyway) even more than the music from ARTPOP???
