It seems that people who love Asylum hated Coven and those who loved Coven hated Asylum. I prefer Asylum and found Coven entertaining in a 'it's so bad it's good' kind of way. It's a mess, but it is watchable if you ignore the gaping plot holes and lack of horror.
Salem is a much better show about witches. It starts out slow, but it does pick the hell up halfway through the first season.
