On a lighter note, whew, the Celebration singles are so underrated. I don't really use It's So Cruel, but Celebration, the Benassi remix, and Revolver all slay and should be viewed by future civilizations as late-discog highlights
Revolver is a blight, a pimple on the ass of her discography. She has so many great sex songs, she should let them be and not try to reinvent their greatness via cheap metaphors and features by Lil Wayne.

I mean, I can accept that Perish was probably good when that saccharine 80s-Pop aesthetic used to be popular. It always struck me as a cautionary single slapped onto LAP just in case her more mature sound flopped. But it didn't, so Perish can stay rotting in 1989 for all I care

Absolutely. Plus, the song sounds nothing alike the usual trash that were storming the airwaves back then.
Yes,it's a carefree sound ,but that's because it fits the lyrics perfectly and elevates the song to an even higher degree.
