As of two weeks ago:
1. 208,980 - Ellie Goulding - Halcyon - 836,166 - 20/10/12 - 1
From my observations, albums at position 15 were selling around 5,000 copies, and albums at position 11 were selling around 6,000. So, she should be up to around 220,000 for the year and 847,000 total. If she continues selling 5,000 a week, she will pass 1 million copies of Halcyon sold in 30 weeks, which is around October. It will be interesting to see if we can pass 1 million by the end of the year!

The main issue is that Ellie has way too many versions of her albums! Halcyon (Don't Say A Word through Dead in the Water) is the original album, released in October 2012. Halcyon Days is a re-release of Halcyon with ten new songs (Burn through Midas Touch), released in August 2013. Halcyon Days has been more commercially successful, but has been criticized for being "generic"; Halcyon, the original album, was somewhat commercially successful, but was lauded as an amazing album!

thanks boo!  you know what's really funny? Is when listening to it, I noticed around Ritual the album started to sound a little different, and then once I hit Burn it almost felt like a completely different album! When I get paid Friday I'm going to be buying Halcyon Days (Deluxe Version) I'm so excited, I've only listened to the iTunes previews, so I can't wait!
From the snippets Goodness Gracious, Joy, Halcyon, ACH, Burn, Explosions, Figure 8 sound like my favorite!

You're welcome! Ritual, In My City, and Without Your Love are the three deluxe edition tracks from the original album! It is definitely interesting that Halcyon/HD sound so different so obviously. So excited that you are buying it! The songs are so great!

Just saw the Divergent movie, it was amazing. Ellie's voice fit so perfectly.
Hoping for success for both the movie and Beating Heart.

It's funny how they try to put her down because her music is radio friendly and melodic while still being alternative and having the Ellie sound.
It's not her fault she makes good music and can appeal to the masses
